About Me

I have over 26 years of cognate experience in early years, primary, and secondary education, as well as in beauty and food retail management.

I obtained a Diploma in Child Care from the United States and a Nursery Foundation Teaching Certificate (0–6 years) from Montessori Centre International, London, England. I attended several seminars and workshops at Montessori Centre International on school management, infant and toddler care, child abuse, and observation of the child. I hold a First Aid at Work certificate from the Red Cross Society of Nigeria. I also attended the Owner Management Programme (OMP7) at Lagos Business School.

From October 2002 to July 2010, I established Child Centre Preschool and Afterschool, which graduated 406 children, many of whom secured top 10 positions in their various primary schools, such as St. Saviour’s School, Ikoyi; Lagos Preparatory School, Ikoyi; Corona School and Greenwood House School, Ikoyi; Children’s International School, Lekki; American International School, Victoria Island; Meadow Hall School, Lekki; and Lekki British International Junior School, Lekki.

I have built a specialised niche in high-quality childcare delivery, catering to both private families and major organisations like MTN and ARM. My programs cover a broad spectrum of development, from core academics (Phonics, Tutoring) and languages (Yoruba, French) to creative arts and physical activities (Ballet, Taekwondo). Notably, I have established a Special Needs Centre to support children with autism and other developmental challenges.

My work extends into high-level institutional consulting, where I assists schools with:

• Business Planning & Recruitment

• Curriculum Planning

• Staff Training

I have held several significant leadership and advisory roles within the Nigerian education sector and beyond:

• Government Initiatives: I played a pivotal role in the Oyo State Education Summit, serving as a Coordinating Consultant for committees focused on Early Years, Primary Education, and the resuscitation of the Yoruba language.

• Professional Leadership: I served as the Executive Education Officer for the Association of International School Educators of Nigeria (AISEN) and represented the Kip McGrath Education Centres.

• Training & Partnerships: In 2012 alone, my organisation (Child Centre Limited) partnered with Oyo State TESCOM to train over 300 school administrators and teachers in 21st-century instructional tools.

Global & Academic Contributions

Beyond local consulting, I served as the Interim Administrative Coordinator for the Yale-Harvard Leadership Enterprise for African Development. Since establishing Child Centre Limited in 2010, I have continued to integrate people, processes, and technology to deliver human capital solutions both independently and in partnership with international firms like COBIS and the British Council.

Educational Policy and Institutional Development

A significant portion of my work involves high-level collaboration with government bodies and educational boards:

• Government Liaison: I worked closely with the Lagos State and Federal Ministry of Education on policy group activities and the development of a teacher database for AISEN.

• Strategic Planning: In 2013, I served as a rapporteur and committee member for the 3rd Lagos State Education Summit.

• Large-Scale Training: I have trained hundreds of educators, including 250 Early Years teachers under the UBEC ODSG SUBEB program in 2014.

• Financial Literacy: In 2015, in partnership with UNICEF, I spearheaded the introduction of the Ajapaworld Financial Literacy Club across all public primary schools in Lagos State.

My expertise extends to board-level leadership within the vocational and technology sectors:
